ICFM 2022 Workshop, Utrecht, The Netherlands
Every three years, the International Commission of Food Mycology (ICFM, IUMS) organizes a workshop on various topics in food mycology. The ICFM 2022 workshop was organized jointly with the International Commission of Penicillium and Aspergillus (ICPA, IUMS) and was held prior to the IUMS congress (Rotterdam 20–22 July 2022). The symposium was held at the Westerdijk Fungal Biodiversity Institute, Utrecht, the Netherlands, from 17–19 July 2022. Emilia Rico is a member of the Executive Board of the ICFM. There are currently 20 members of the ICFM.
The meeting was open to participants from academia and industries. The symposium was held in a hybrid style, both of in-person (onsite) and remote (online), and oral and poster presentation were given.
